Meet the Creator

Hello, I am Monique Janelle, the owner and creator of Monique Janelle Soap Co! My passion for soap making began in 2016. While researching natural home remedies for skin, I stumbled upon soap making and instantly became intrigued. I began reading books about this process and learned all I could about it before making my first batch of soap. I was amazed to learn that whatever I put in my soap mixture came out in the final product. I learned so much about the cold process soap making process as well as the benefits of the oils and butters that I use in my products.
I am a Mom of 3 children. My entire family, including my parents, have benefitted from my soap making journey, especially my youngest son, who was born with eczema that did not respond to conventional prescription medicine. What started out solely as a way to soothe my son's irritated skin has turned into a thriving business that I absolutely adore!
My goal for Monique Janelle Soap Co has always been simple. I aim to provide luxuriously beautiful and superior quality skincare products made simply using only the highest quality ingredients available, at an accessible price point.
The majority of the soap creations here at Monique Janelle Soap Co are made with milk; specifically, Goat milk and Coconut milk, occasionally fresh Buttermilk along with sustainably sourced and skin nourishing oils and butters that will provide your skin with the vitamins and nutrients it needs to remain nourished and moisturized. I also make drink inspired soaps formulated with beer, coffee, wine and a Southern Favorite: Sweet Tea. All fragrances used in my shop are always Phthalate free.
While I do specialize in cold process soaps, I offer an array of handcrafted products your body will love, such as; Shower Steamers, Bath Bombs, Body Butters, Creamy Body Wash, Bubble Bath, Sugar Body Scrubs, Whipped Soap, Men's Beard care, Wax melts, and other great quality accessories.
